REALTOR® | REALTIST®
Dr. Tamika Hudson entered the real estate industry as a consumer purchasing her first home at the age of 23. Two years later she custom built a second home and ventured into the role of investor and landlord. After 20 years and dozens of personal residential and commercial real estate transactions in Georgia and Tennessee, her passion for real estate led her to become a licensed REALTOR® and REALTIST®.
She frequently partners with her real estate developer husband, Robert Hudson, founder and CEO of BlueChip Investments LLC, in selling and marketing new construction homes. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University, a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University (where she previously served as Professor and Dean of Students), and a Doctorate from Samford University.
Dr. Hudson is actively engaged in community service and engagement. Mayor John Cooper appointed her membership to the Healthy Nashville Leadership Council and Hospital Authority Board for Nashville General Hospital, where she continues to serve. She has received numerous awards for her work in equity, inclusion, diversity, belonging, and workplace culture including the Dr. M.L.K Award from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Faculty Diversity Award from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Her passion for equitable home ownership led to the creation of A Doc in the House, LLC, which operates her real estate business and assists medical professionals with their real estate needs.
She holds memberships with the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS®, Tennessee Association of REALTORS®, Georgia Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR®), and National Association of Real of Estate Brokers (REALTIST®) . She is recognized by NAR® as a Seller Representative Specialist®, promoting expert level service to clients seeking to sell their homes.
